Lubin Olson hosts the Real Estate Roundtable Luncheon with speaker Margaret Miller, Vice President of Development for the John Stewart Company on July 12, 2018

We are pleased to welcome Margaret Miller, Vice President of Development for the John Stewart Company to our Real Estate Roundtable to discuss the impact of new housing laws and legislation that is intended to help facilitate the production of housing, as well as general lessons learned from some affordable housing projects in San Francisco, including the HOPE SF Initiative, which seeks to revitalize four of San Francisco’s most distressed public housing sites, transforming them into vibrant, thriving communities.

In her capacity as Vice President for Development, Ms. Miller supervises the firm’s Project and Asset Managers and oversees the full range of corporate activities related to developing affordable and mixed-income multifamily housing. Ms. Miller works closely on HOPE SF Initiative’s Hunters View project. The project is being delivered in three phases (Phases I and II are complete) with build-out projected for 2021. Hunters View is already a highly regarded project, receiving awards for Community Impact Project of the Year by San Francisco Business Times in 2013 and 2016 and National Reader’s Choice Award for 2013’s Best Family Project by Affordable Housing Finance. Hunters View is a diverse San Francisco community that incorporates public housing, new affordable rental units, market rate units, parks, and community amenities.
